Small-school tripleheader
They're staging a tripleheader of small-school football Saturday at Gonzaga Prep.
Things kick off with Cusick taking on Columbia-Inchelium at 11 a.m. and Wilbur-Creston facing Almira-Coulee/Hartline at 2 p.m. in 1B quarterfinals. The fun is capped with a 2B quarterfinal when Colfax meets Lind-Ritzville/Sprague at 5.
In state girls soccer, Lakeside takes on Bush in a 1A semifinal at 2 p.m. at Carl Sparks Stadium in Puyallup. In a 2A semifinal, East Valley faces White River at Sparks Stadium at 6. The championship matches are on Saturday.
