Summary

What happened: Sophomore mid-fielder Emily Busch scored the go-ahead goal late in the second half to give Mt. Spokane (5-9, 4-5) the win over Lewis and Clark (9-6, 5-4).

After two early goals, one by Grace Ellis for the Tigers and the other by Payton Stiles, junior captain for the Wildcats, Mt. Spokane had a chance to go ahead right before half, but missed the penalty kick in a game with tough field conditions. After back and forth play, Mt. Spokane finally got some offense with the goal by Busch.
