There’s a moment in “John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum” where our aggrieved assassin goes to visit his adoptive mother figure, The Director (Angelica Huston) at the Tarkovsky Theater, where she commands the training of ballerinas and the assassins of the Ruska Roma tribe, of which John Wick was once a member. He pleads for the Director’s help while in the background, the ballerina dancing on stage collapses, her sagging shoulders inked with an elaborate tattoo.

That's gonna leave a mark. Sandusky, Ohio, will celebrate 30 years of the Chris Farley comedy classic "Tommy Boy" this summer at Tommy Boy Fest, Aug. 7-9, organizers have announced. The three-day event will feature a car show, concerts, a scavenger hunt and outdoor screenings of the 1995 movie, which took place in Sandusky, home to the movie's fictional brake pad manufacturer, Callahan Auto Parts.

Paramount Global and Advent Allen Entertainment plan to open a Top Gun-themed attraction in Las Vegas. The destination is expected to debut in summer 2028 on undeveloped land next to the Strat Hotel, Casino & Tower.

The summer movie season has arrived, with Tom Cruise racing across virtually every multiplex screen in the country in what may or may not be the final "Mission: Impossible" movie. And there's much more to come this season, with a nervous film industry hoping for some blockbusters to offset low box office returns earlier this year. Here's a sample of what might be pushing popcorn sales this summer; note that all release dates are subject to change.

One dictionary definition of the word “havoc” involves something that embodies “great destruction or devastation.” It’s no stretch, then, to note how perfectly that definition applies to Gareth Evans' grim action-drama “Havoc.”

"Cheech & Chong's Last Movie," which hits theaters Friday, answers a lot of questions about the stoner comedy duo's career. But it also raises a few big ones along the way. Chief among them, given the title: Is this truly the final silver-screen sesh for the pair, now 78 and 86 respectively? And how, after a contentious creative split four decades ago, did they find themselves reunited for, of all things, a documentary?
