Spokane Indians blanked second time in three games

The Tri-City Dust Devils used a centered approach Sunday to hand the Spokane Indians their third shutout of the Northwest League season. Wilson Soriano tripled to center field on the second pitch of the game and Sean Dwyer homered twice to center as the Dust Devils piled up a season-high 16 hits during a 7-0 victory in the middle game of a three-game series at Avista Stadium.

Taking advantage of a stiff wind from the night’s powerful storm that plagued the area, Hillsboro hit three first-inning home runs on the way to a 12-9 Northwest League win over the Indians at Avista Stadium.

Trevino, Indians get rolling again, pound Hops

Jose Trevino said it was time for the Spokane Indians to reintroduce themselves to their fans. Trevino and the Indians did just that Friday, banging out 15 hits while their four pitchers combined for 16 strikeouts during a 10-1 win over the Hillsboro Hops before a sellout crowd of 7,061 at Avista Stadium.
