Wild Card/Monday — 6.27.16

I rode my bike to work today, the second time this year that I've done so. I've been a slacker this year when it comes to bike riding. Last year, I rode my bike almost daily. Dunno why I haven't this year. Mebbe it's the thought of all those distracted drivers on cell phones, using the same streets.

Plane crash kills 70YO Spokane pilot

Authorities have identified the pilot who died in a plane crash Saturday afternoon in Kootenai County as Kenneth D. Chapman, 70, of Spokane. Chapman’s body was found in the wreckage of a downed plane about 25 yards up a steep embankment. The crash occurred in the Horsehaven area, about 40 miles east of Coeur d'Alene.
