Kootenai County law enforcement officials arrested 31 men from a far-right hate group known as Patriot Front on Saturday in Coeur d’Alene.

Police in Coeur d’Alene arrested 31 masked members of a white nationalist group suspected of conspiring to riot in the city’s downtown on the same day as a scheduled Pride in the Park event nearby.

The Benewah County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating Rochelle Griffin, 29.

Organizers of Coeur d'Alene's Pride in the Park are hoping for a smooth day on Saturday, despite another group hosting an event nearby. Coeur d’Alene Police said they don't expect their to be any misconduct between the two. 

Drought conditions in the Inland Northwest improved from "moderate drought" to "abnormally dry," according to new data from the U.S. Drought Monitor. Wet weather is expected to continue this weekend.

Spokane police arrested Jamar Wren, 20, after a gunshot was reported at 2011 N. Jefferson Ave. The address has been the site of at least two other shooting incidents since December 2020. 

Spokane police have referred the charge of murder for Robert G. Davis, 52, in connection with the 2012 death of Kala Williams after her death was recently reclassified as a homicide. “We’re going to get to the bottom of this, even if it takes a couple of years," Martine Maggio, Williams' mother said.

One man has been arrested by Spokane Police after a shooting on Tuesday morning near Northwest Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.
