Detroit To Retire Jersey

Sid Abel, who centered the Detroit Red Wings’ fabled Production Line with Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay, will have his No. 12 retired on April 28.

Abel spent 32 years in the Red Wings organization as a player, general manager, coach and broadcaster.
