Wife Says Bonds Abusive

Sun Bonds said through tears in county superior court that her estranged husband, San Fracisco Giants outfielder Barry Bonds, beat and abused her regularly.

Her testimony was part of an increasingly bitter divorce proceeding that began in May 1994. Barry Bonds’ lawyers said they will call witnesses whose testimony won’t support Sun Bonds’ allegations.
