Mr. And Mrs. Near Coeur D’Alene

Burton and Vivene Near, Coeur d’Alene, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at Chef in the Forest restaurant.

Hosts for the event will be their children: Vanna Near, Coeur d’Alene; Kathy Rau, Spokane; and Rod Near and wife Linda, Bremerton.

Married Nov. 1, 1945, in Shelby, Mich., the Nears have seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
