Hints From Heloise

King Features Syndicate

Dear Heloise: I do not take pictures regularly and often my film is in the camera for quite a while. As a result, I forget the date when the first pictures were taken, the type of film and how long it has been in the camera.

To avoid this, I take a small piece of freezer tape and place it on the camera. When I put a new roll of film in, I write the date, film type and number of exposures on the tape.

This prevents a lot of mind searching! - The Leckys, Durham, N.C.

Dear Heloise: I enjoy your column very much and this is the first time I’ve written. Hope you like my “sit on it” hint.

When it comes time to store inflatable items, such as toys, beach balls, rafts, etc., just release the air nozzle and sit on the object. It will flatten quickly and be ready to easily fold. - Phyllis, Keyport, N.J.
