Craig Names Patano His State Director

U.S. Sen. Larry Craig announced Monday that Sandy Patano, his regional director in Coeur d’Alene, is being promoted to state director.

In the newly created position, Patano will continue to work out of Coeur d’Alene, but will also travel extensively around the state.

Patano said she will focus on helping Idahoans who have problems involving the federal bureaucracy.

Patano has worked for Craig since 1982. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University and formerly worked for Sunshine Mining Co. as manager of public relations. She is president of the Coeur d’Alene Rotary Club and serves on the board of directors of Kids Voting Idaho.

Patano is married with two children; her husband, Mike, is a Coeur d’Alene architect. , DataTimes
