Olga Markova landed all four of her jumps cleanly to take the lead in the Russia Cup women’s figure skating competition.

In the pairs competition, Germans Mandy Woetzel and Ingo Steuer skated to the gold, passing world champions Marina Yeltsova and Andrei Bushkov of Russia. In the original dance event, Russians Anjelika Krylova and Oleg Ovsiannikov held onto their lead after their tango.
