Cbs Changing Monday Lineup
CBS Entertainment announced Monday that it’s making a couple of changes in its Monday night lineup, introducing the new situation comedy “Good Company” at 9:30, starting March 4.
That same night, “Almost Perfect,” which has been seen on Sundays, will move to the 8:30 Monday time slot.
The network also said “The Bonnie Hunt Show” will return to the lineup on Sunday, March 10, at 8:30, replacing “Almost Perfect”
Two Monday regulars, “Can’t Hurry Love” and “High Society,” will vacate the 8:30 and 9:30 time slots as of their Feb. 26 broadcasts. “Almost Perfect” will be last seen in its Sunday time period on March 3.
“Good Company” is an ensemble comedy that follows the professional and personal lives of the creative team at a midtown Manhattan advertising agency. There are eight members of the ensemble, and in the pilot we saw last month in California that was about five too many.
“Bonnie Hunt,” which formerly aired on Fridays (where it nailed down 99th place in the season-to-date rankings), stars Bonnie as a small-town TV reporter who finds herself at a big Chicago station. David Letterman is one of the executive producers and it’s been in the shop after only a six-week tryout last fall.
