Six-Month Sentence For Sexual Assault

A 58-year-old Hunters, Wash., man has been sentenced to six months in jail for having sex with his 37-year-old daughter.

Dennis W. Williamson had been charged with rape and incest, but pleaded guilty earlier this month to two counts of fourth-degree assault. The victim said she “froze” when her father initiated sex while giving her a massage in April 1994.

Stevens County Superior Court Judge Fred Stewart suspended an additional six months in jail on condition that Williamson complete sex-offender treatment and pay for attorneys and expert witnesses the court provided for his defense.
