Ex-Sprinter Hospitalized
Darrell Robinson, the 400-meter national champion in 1986, is in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center, a hospital spokesman confirmed.
Spokesman Larry Zalin declined to give details, but did say Robinson was not hospitalized for any sort of trauma.
Robinson, 32, who grew up in Tacoma and went to college at Houston and the University of Washington, was ranked No. 3 in the world in the 400 in 1986.
