Hints From Heloise
Dear Heloise: I use my computer to generate a grocery list of regularly purchased items (small type, single column).
It is itemized into categories, such as produce, canned goods, baby items, cleaning products, drugs, etc., like my coupons.
I print the list on regular paper and fold it in thirds. This allows me to slip my coupons into a convenient envelope.
If an item is needed, either my husband or I circle it and there is plenty of room for other items not on the list. If I have errands to do, I add them to the blank side of my envelope.
I can get through the store in no time and save money with the coupons and by having a list. - Jeanmarie, New Orleans
