B.C. Lions Find Hope

Hamilton businessman David Braley is the newest owner of the B.C. Lions, conditional on third-and-long efforts to sell season tickets.

The Lions must raise about $2.5 million by the end of the year through deposits on 15,000 season tickets for the 1997 Canadian Football League season.

The league is requiring deposits for at least 10,000 season tickets by early January as a condition for fielding a team in 1997.
