Stone Grove Gourmet Co. preserved lemons, made by Spokane’s Kellie Hurt from an old family recipe, are pickled with wine vinegar, sea salt, garlic, peppercorns and bay leaves. You can use them in everything from hot spinach dip to salad dressing to a marinade for chicken or fish (recipes included).

Price: Around $12 for 1 quart.
