Hootie And The Blowfish To Play Arena In November
Hootie and the Blowfish, one of the best-selling bands in the ‘90s, will play the Spokane Arena on Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets go on sale for $27.50 at all G&B Select-a-Seat outlets on Saturday at 10:15 a.m.
Hootie and the Blowfish baffled many when the band came out of virtually nowhere two years ago with its debut “Cracked Rear View.” Since then, there has been no escaping the high-profile band.
Its first album has been bought by over 14 million Americans.
With all the attention Hootie’s first album garnered, “Fairweather Johnson,” the rock band’s sophomore effort, has gotten off to a slow start. So far it has sold 2 million copies since its release in May.
Supporting Hootie and the Blowfish at the Arena will be Speech, a member of the hip-hop combo Arrested Development.
G&B Outlets for Spokane include: Spokane Arena, Spokane Convention Center, Cavanaugh’s Inn at the Park, The Met and Rosauers Stores (at 29th, Heritage Village and University City). In Pullman, G&B outlets are at WSU Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum and the Cougar Depot.
The outlet in Coeur d’Alene is Rosauers. In Moscow, tickets are available at Ticket Express and the University of Idaho.
