How Berry Sweet

This year, along with a syrupy card for Valentine’s Day, why not treat your sweetie to a syrupy, er, syrup?

Our region is home to a handful of huckleberry syrups, including one with a clean, bright berry flavor from The Huckleberry Patch in Hungry Horse, Mont. Actually more of a thin jelly, the sweet-tart syrup is made simply from huckleberry juice, sugar and pectin.

Breakfast in bed, anyone?

Price: Around $5-6 for 8 ounces (other sizes available by mail).
