Gonzaga Women Knocked Off In Ot

Jenny Frank scored 32 points and pulled down 14 rebounds Saturday night to carry Pepperdine to an 84-81 overtime win over Gonzaga in a West Coast Conference women’s basketball thriller at the Martin Centre.

Despite Frank’s heroics, Pepperdine still needed a basket from Angie White with 2 seconds left in regulation to force the overtime. Liz Paulson then broke an 80-80 tie in overtime with another layin, before two late free throws by Dana Salenski sealed the win.

GU was paced offensively by Staci Andrews, who scored 27 points.
