That Makes It One For David And One For Tea
Celebrity television couple David Duchovny (“The X-Files”) and Tea Leoni (“The Naked Truth”) celebrate their first wedding anniversary today.
Although, under the circumstances, maybe “celebrate” is too strong of a word.
“Unfortunately, I will be in Europe for our first anniversary, and David will be working on ‘Saturday Night Live,”’ Leoni told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “I think we’ll probably have a very special phoner.”
Friday is another big day: the opening of the comet-threatens-Earth thriller “Deep Impact,” in which Leoni has the largest role of her four feature films so far.
And the long-awaited, big-screen version of “The X-Files” is scheduled for release June 19.
Loose talk
David Duchovny, on “X-Files” co-star Gillian Anderson (in Details magazine): “We have a relationship of reliance more than friendship. The interaction we have, we save for work.”

George Clooney turns 37 today.
But how does Tea feel about being Yoko?
In that Details interview, David Duchovny also compares the popularity of “The X-Files” to Beatlemania: “It’s very similar in the intensity of our fans, emotionally, especially as the end of the show becomes inevitable.” So which Beatle would he be? “I guess John, because I’m the most outspoken,” Duchovny said.
It can’t be a bigger dog than ‘Cabin Boy’
George Clooney may have provided the voice of Sparky the gay dog on “South Park,” but comedian Chris Elliott (of Tostitos TV ad fame) has landed a steadier canine vocal gig. He’ll do Dogbert on UPN’s animated “Dilbert” series next fall.
Heck, you could do a ‘Dilbert’ voice for $7.50
A female fan bid $7,500 for a walk-on role opposite Mark Harmon on “Chicago Hope” at a charity auction for a Mobile, Ala., senior center. An autographed baseball cap Harmon wore during one episode netted $125, while an autographed script and a cast photo went for $150 each.
A George by any other name would still smell
Remember the real Kramer? Meet Mike Costanza, an old pal of Jerry Seinfeld who says his new book, “The Real Seinfeld,” reveals “what it was like to hang out at my house during our college days, to doubledate, to go to Yankee games, to the laundromat, Chinese restaurants.” Said a Seinfeld spokeswoman: “The only semblance of a connection he has to the show is that Jerry happened to remember his last name.”
But we bet Jerry goes out with more class
So what does Seinfeld’s real-life ex-girlfriend, Shoshanna Lonstein, have planned for the May 14 series finale? “I actually am going out that night,” she told an interviewer.
