The Japanese Gardens in Manito Park was the setting for the Sept. 5 wedding of Linda Miller and Barry John Pippenger.

The bride is the daughter of the late Jan and Darrell Wagner. The bridegroom is the son of Al and Helen Pippenger, Spokane.

A reception was at the Kempis Suites Hotel. The Pippengers, who planned a honeymoon in the Bahamas, are living in Spokane.
