Looking to dress up your salads in something special for the holidays?

Litehouse, Sandpoint’s longtime purveyor of salad dressings, has just released a Classic Line of gourmet, natural dressings in four flavors: Bleu Cheese Vinaigrette, Balsamic Vinaigrette, Wild Huckleberry Vinaigrette and Roasted Red Pepper.

You can also use them as sauces for rice or pasta, or marinades for meat. Turkey and dressing, anyone?

Price: $3 to $4 for 12 ounces.

Available: At Yoke’s supermarkets in Spokane and Sandpoint, Albertson’s and Rosauers in Spokane and at area Safeway stores.
