Environmental Forum Includes Entertainment

Grant Elementary music students will be singing and drumming at the closing luncheon of the Environmental Forum for Business conference on Thursday.

The program, which runs from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., will also include country singer Savannah Taylor and author Ian McHarg reading “A Poem to the World’s Children.”

Other notables will be also be in town for the conference. Architect William McDonough will speak at a breakfast from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, and actor Dennis Weaver will speak at a breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Thursday.

All events will be at the Ag Trade Center downtown. Each meal is $25 at the door.
