Helen Frank Silverton, Idaho
Memorial service for Helen Charlotte Frank, 87, will be today at 1 p.m. at the Silver Wood Good Samaritan Center. Shoshone Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Frank died Sunday. She moved to the Silver Valley in the late 1940s from California and worked as a registered nurse at the County Nursing Home in Silverton.
Mrs. Frank then owned Helen’s Cafe in Pinehurst, Idaho, before moving to Silverton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony.
Survivors include a son, Gary Frank of Mullan, Idaho; and three grandchildren, Gary, Adam and Erica.
Eleanor Thompson Osburn, Idaho
Service for Eleanor Yvonne Thompson, 75, will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Kellogg Funeral Chapel. Mrs. Thompson, who was born in Germany, died Sunday.
She grew up in Germany and graduated from college in Sacramento, Calif.
Mrs. Thompson moved to the Silver Valley in 1974 and was a homemaker and a member of the Neu Apostolisch Church of Germany in Spokane.
Survivors include her husband, John; a daughter, Christa Peterson of Osburn; two sisters, Lilo Salkowski of California and Gertrude Schopik of Germany; and numerous nieces and nephews.
William `Vince’ Burns Rathdrum, Idaho
Visitation for William V. “Vince” Burns, 84, will be Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene . Vigil service will follow at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass is planned for 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Spirit Lake, Idaho. A reception will follow the service at St. Stanislaus Parish Hall in Rathdrum.
Mr. Burns, who was born in West New York, N.J., died Monday.
He live in Sylmar, Calif., for 38 years and worked as a procurement manager at Lockheed before moving to Rathdrum in 1979.
Mr. Burns was a volunteer at Kootenai Medical Center and was active in St. Stanislaus parish.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; two sons, Bill and Nick Burns, both of Rathdrum; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Josephine Osborne Coeur d’Alene
Memorial service for Josephine Nancy Osborne, 90, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Coeur d’Alene Stake Center. Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d’Alene is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Osborne, who was born in Chewelah, Wash., died Saturday.
She lived in Ione, Wash., and moved to the Seattle area, where she worked in the restaurant industry before moving to Grays Harbor, Wash. Mrs. Osborne earned her certified nursing assistant certificate in the 1960s.
She moved to Coeur d’Alene in 1988.
She was involved with the Coeur d’Alene Senior Agency, Senior Volunteers, Community Action Agency and the Rathdrum Senior Center until 1997.
Mrs. Osborne was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Her husband, Ray, died in 1968.
Survivors include a son, Laurance Brown of St. Maries; a daughter, Wanda Dimico of Coeur d’Alene; two sisters, Myrtle Ceffalo and Margaret Phillips, both of Seattle; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mary Ballard Post Falls
Memorial service for Mary Sophia Ballard, 90, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d’Alene Chapel.
Mrs. Ballard, who was born in Payette County, Idaho, died Saturday.
She grew up near Council, Idaho, and graduated from high school in Parma, Idaho. She married Allen Ballard on Jan. 1, 1928 and lived near Parma. She farmed before moving to the Rimrock area in Hayden, Idaho, and operating a dairy.
Mrs. Ballard moved to Canada and later returned to the Parma area.
Her husband died in 1980, and she moved to Post Falls to be near family.
She was a member of the Post Falls Friends Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert Ballard of Coeur d’Alene; two daughters, Pauline Miller-Short of Post Falls and Marjorie Claflin of Wallace, Idaho; a brother, Cecil Evans of Oregon; a sister, Doris Keck of Richland; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Mark Williams Worley, Idaho
Funeral Mass for Mark Williams, 55, will be at 10 a.m. today at the Worley Community Hall. Burial will be at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Worley. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Williams, who was born in Worley, died Monday.
He graduated from Worley High School.
Survivors include two children, Mark and Ignes Williams; his mother, Mary Williams; two sisters, Barbara Mitchell and Kathy Goodnau; a brother, Francis Williams; a half-sister, Matilda Vinson, and a half-brother, Clarence Herbinau; and two grandchildren.
Pearl Gilbertson Fairfield
Funeral for Pearl M. Gilbertson, 86, will be at 1 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Mrs. Gilbertson, who was born in Blair, Neb., died Sunday.
She worked as a receptionist at White Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Fairfield for many years.
Mrs. Wright was an artist and a longtime member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fairfield.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Gilbertson.
Survivors include a son, John Carlyle of Camarillo, Calif.; a brother, Conrad Anderson of Idaho; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Chloe Robinson Priest River, Idaho
Funeral for Chloe Lorene Robinson, 99, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Priest River Community Congregational Church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Priest River. Sherman-Knapp Funeral Home in Newport, Wash., is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Robinson, who was born in Hagar, Okla., died Feb. 6.
She moved with her family to Culdesac, Idaho, and later to Spokane, where she graduated from North Central High School in 1917.
Mrs. Robinson worked in a bank in St. John, Wash., before marrying Harold Robinson in 1920.
They moved to Priest River in 1923.
She was a member of the Cultus Club, a bridge club, Toastmistress Club, Royal Neighbors of America, Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and several other women’s fellowship clubs.
Her husband died in 1984.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by two sons, Gene Robinson of Priest River and Loren Robinson of Veradale; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
