Roadwork Will Slow Motorists
Resurfacing work will delay area motorists traveling along two state roadways next week.
Crews will resume a resurfacing project Wednesday night on Interstate 90 from the Sherman Avenue freeway overpass to the Northwest Boulevard overpass.
Traffic will be limited to one lane in each direction, and the speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph. Work will be done from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
South of Coeur d’Alene, state Highway 97 will be closed from the Harrison junction to Harrison from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. beginning Tuesday. Crews will be installing drainage pipes across the roadway in preparation for a $1.7 million resurfacing project next month.
