Hints From Heloise B King Features Syndicate
Dear Heloise: Sometimes when I have a sore throat, I need to look at it myself. I have found that rather than trying to shine a flashlight toward my throat while looking in the mirror, the easiest way is to shine the flashlight toward the reflection of my throat in the mirror.
The flashlight seems less cumbersome, and it is easier to angle it the way I need to. - Barbara Pendleton, McColl, S.C.
Here is a good hint from Mary Shook of Abilene, Texas:
Dear Heloise: When I look up a store or a person in the telephone book, I use a highlighter pen and mark the name and number.
The next time I look the number up, it is easy to find.
