Most people probably wouldn’t consider a cookie to be the basis of a healthy breakfast. But Baker’s Breakfast Cookies, produced in Bellingham, are designed as portable, filling fuel for hikers, bikers and anyone who’s watching their nutritional intake.

The big, chewy cookies, made with such wholesome ingredients as canola oil, oats and fruit purees, come in flavors including apple cinnamon, chocolate/chocolate chip, chocolate chip/raisin and peanut butter.

And if you want to have your breakfast cookie for dessert, don’t worry — we won’t tell.
