We realize it’s pretty brazen of us to trot out lingonberries in the middle of the region’s huckleberry season, but we couldn’t pass them up.

Apparently we aren’t the only ones. Scandinavian Delights Lingonberry Danish Spread is the top seller for the Everett company that distributes it.

The fruit spread is imported from Denmark. It’s made without boiling “to preserve consistency, flavor and freshness with genuine homemade taste,” according to the jar label.
