Former Ineel Workers Eligible For Free Tests

Thousands of former Idaho National Engineering and Environmental Laboratory workers are now eligible for free medical tests to detect diseases that could have been caused by radiation and chemical exposures at work.

An occupational health study found that, particularly during early years at the Idaho facility, some employees were exposed to chemicals and radiation that might cause health problems.

It was directed in part by the Paper, Allied-Industrial, Chemical and Energy Workers International Union.
