They look like Aplets and Cotlets, and they’re also made by Liberty Orchards in Cashmere, Wash., but we think they’re even better.

An anonymous reader brought Fruit Festives to the attention of Food Finds - an empty package of the orange-walnut variety arrived in the mail with a note saying we could find them at Rosauers.

We did. We also found raspberry-pecan and strawberry-walnut flavors.

A little research took us to the Liberty Orchards Web site (www.libertyorchards.com) where you can take a virtual tour of the company, request a catalog or shop directly online. Additional flavors and products sold in gift boxes are available online.

Price: About 33 cents per package of two bite-size snacks.
