George Boleck Fairfield
Service for George V. Boleck, 59, will be at 2 p.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairfield. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Fairfield is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Boleck, who was born in Seattle, died Friday.
He served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1962 with the 317th Combined Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.
Mr. Boleck was a salesman in the food service and beverage industry. He also worked in route sales and as a paper carrier for local newspapers, including The Spokesman-Review.
He served on the Fairfield City Council, was a member of the Unity Church and was a past commodore for the Maverick Yacht Club. He also was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the 317th CAMS Veteran Group.
Survivors include his wife, Claire; two sons, John Boleck of Fairfield and Daniel Benoun of Las Vegas; two daughters, Jennifer Schunke of Fairfield and Marie LaMarche of Bloomington, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

Raymond Sibert Calder, Idaho
Burial Mass for Raymond F. Sibert, 77, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in St. Maries. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in St. Maries. Yates-Hodge Funeral Home in St. Maries is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Sibert, who was born in Stoneham, Colo., died Sunday.
In 1935 he moved to the Spokane Valley and in 1941 graduated from Central Valley High School. He married Leila Mullis in 1942.
Mr. Sibert served with the Army Air Corps during World War II and then settled in Calder and worked as a heavy-duty mechanic for Shoshone County. He retired in 1978.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the St. Maries Elks Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry Sibert of Tacoma; a daughter, Barbara Struss of Myrtle Creek, Ore.; a brother, Earl Sibert of Los Banos, Calif.; a sister, Evelyn Conley of St. Maries; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Genevieve Klyzek Redmond, Wash.
Visitation for Genevieve A. Klyzek, a former Spokane resident, will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Service is planned for 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Saltese Cemetery in Greenacres.
Mrs. Klyzek, who was born in South Bend, Ind., died Friday. She was 85.
She graduated from high school in South Bend.
In 1970 Mrs. Klyzek and her husband, John, moved to Otis Orchards from Michigan.
She worked in the catalog department at Sears for 23 years and retired in 1985 after working in Spokane for 15 years.
Mrs. Klyzek moved to Portland in 1995 and later to Redmond.
Her husband of 58 years died in 1995.
Survivors include three sons, David Klyzek of Bayview, Idaho, John Klyzek of Redmond and Charles Klyzek of Toronto, Ontario; and two grandsons.
Clarence Hardt Odessa, Wash.
Service for Clarence J. Hardt, 84, was Tuesday at Heritage Church in Odessa. Burial was at Odessa Cemetery.
A lifetime Odessa resident, Mr. Hardt died Thursday.
He served in the Army during World War II and was a farmer in the Odessa area.
Mr. Hardt was a member of the Odessa Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion post in Wilson Creek, Wash.
His wife, Lenora (Schultz), died in 1999.
Survivors include three sons, Delbert Hardt of Moses Lake, John Hardt of Odessa and Richard Hardt of Marysville, Wash.; two daughters, Karen Balfe of Sprague, Wash., and Julie Reynolds of Chelan, Wash.; a brother, William Hardt of Odessa; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Wyman Phetteplace Spokane
Memorial service for Wyman Kenneth Phetteplace, 82, will be at 1 p.m. today at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Private inurnment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
Born in Meriden, Conn., Mr. Phetteplace died Saturday.
Mr. Phetteplace served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a senior sales representative for a life insurance company and lived in Spokane for 19 years.
Mr. Phetteplace was a member of South Hill Bible Church and the North Hill Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Gertrude; a son, Wyman Phetteplace Jr. of Bothell, Wash.; two daughters, Patricia Kremer and Susan Huston, both of Spokane; a brother, Clarence Phetteplace of Ignacio, Colo.; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Lola Gilliland Spokane
No service will be held for Lola Lee Gilliland, 63, at her request. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Gilliland, who was born in Helena, died Feb. 28.
She was a 30-year Spokane resident and worked as a cook and waitress at Holy Family Hospital for 15 years.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Frank; a son, Frank Schumacher of Spokane; a daughter, Calette Schasteen of Dutch Harbor, Alaska; a brother, Bill Frey of Kalispell, Mont.; and four grandchildren.

Reynoldo DeLago Spokane
No service will be held for Reynoldo Godwin DeLago, 46. Spokane Cremation and Burial Service is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Airway Heights, Mr. DeLago died Saturday.
He graduated in 1974 from Rogers High School.
Mr. DeLago lived in California for eight years and moved back to Spokane two years ago.
Survivors include his mother, Marguerite DeLago; a brother, Alphonso DeLago; and three sisters, Teresa Honshell, Tina Smith and Olga Stewart.

La Rene `Carol’ Daugherty Spokane
Memorial service for La Rene “Carol” Daugherty, 61, was Tuesday at Northwest Shadle Maintenance.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mrs. Daugherty died Friday.
She was a caregiver in the home health care industry.
Mrs. Daugherty was a member of the Jevhovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband of 12 years, Ellery; four children, Vicki Toreson and Dan Haggerty, both of Spokane, Ted Toreson Jr. of Oregon and O.S. Bass IV of Orlando, Fla.; two sisters, Bonnie Carpenter of Spokane and Patricia McCullough of Loon Lake, Wash.; two brothers, Ronald Bowman of Spokane and William Bowman of Kent, Wash.; and seven grandchildren.

William Deaver Post Falls
Memorial service for William Bruce “Bill” Deaver, 68, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Pleasantview Baptist Church in Post Falls. English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Deaver, who was born in Oklahoma City, died Sunday.
He married Marjie Asbury in 1954. They lived in the Spokane Valley.
Mr. Deaver worked at Sylvan Furniture in the warehouse and as a deliveryman for 17 years, retiring in 1983.
He moved to Post Falls in 1972.
He was a member of Pleasantview Baptist Church and was a golfer.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Deaver of Post Falls; a brother, Joseph Deaver of Purcell, Okla.; three sisters, Dorothy Musgrave, Mildred Flowers and Clara Lee Miller; three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

Rita Reed Cheney
Visitation for Rita M. Reed, 61, will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Cheney Funeral Home. Service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Reed, who was born in Sayre, Pa., died Sunday.
She graduated from Waverly (N.Y.) High School in 1956 and married Robert Reed in 1957.
She was a homemaker and a 25-year Cheney resident.
Mrs. Reed is survived by her husband; two sons, Daniel Reed of Spokane and Robert Reed Jr. of Cheney; a daughter, Donna Reed of Anchorage, Alaska; a sister, Marie Smith of Waverly; and a granddaughter.
Howard McGuire Spokane
Memorial service for Howard C. McGuire, 76, will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Eagles Lodge 2. Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
A lifetime Spokane resident, Mr. McGuire died Sunday.
He served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He received training at Farragut Naval Training Center in Idaho.
Mr. McGuire was a salesman at Stewart’s Hardware for 40 years.
He was a member of the El Katif Shrine Band, the Masonic Lodge, Eagles Lodge No. 2 Band and the Project Joy Orchestra.
Survivors include his wife of 18 years, Thelma; three sons, Donald Reichert of Spokane, Richard McGuire of Redmond, Wash., and Randall McGuire of Wasilla, Alaska; three daughters, Therresa Clemons of Spokane and Kerry McGuire and Maureen Decker, both of Fresno, Calif.; three sisters; 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Charles Martin Pullman
Memorial service for Charles Franklin Martin, 82, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Pullman Presbyterian Church. The Cremation Society of Washington is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Spokane, Mr. Martin died March 1.
He received a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy in 1941 from Washington State University and a master’s degree in pharmaceutical chemistry in 1943 from WSU.
He became a pharmacy instructor in 1943 at WSU and was later commissioned to teach chemistry to Army Veterinary Corps students on the campus during World War II.
Mr. Martin receive his doctorate in pharmaceutical chemistry in 1950 from WSU.
From 1957 to 1958 he and his family lived in Switzerland. He conducted research at the Chemical Institute of the University of Zurich.
He returned to Pullman and continued teaching and conducting research in the College of Pharmacy at WSU. He retired in 1980.
Mr. Martin was a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, the Washington State Pharmacists Association, the American Association of University Professors and the Rho Chi Society. He also was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Pullman Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Alice; three sons, James Martin of Okanogan, Wash., Kenneth Martin of Lake Oswego, Ore., and Laurence Martin of Mill Valley, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

Milton Zimbelman Spokane
Service for Milton H. Zimbelman, 84, is planned for 1 p.m. today at Thornhill Valley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Otis Orchards.
Mr. Zimbelman, who was born in Chewelah, Wash., died Friday.
Mr. Zimbelman served in the Army during World War II.
He was a 80-year Spokane resident and worked as a carpenter for the Cheney Cowles Museum for more than 30 years.
Mr. Zimbelman was a Golden Age Eagle and a member of Eagles Lodge 2.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Wanda; a daughter, Cheryl Growt of Spokane; a stepson, John Davis of Chattaroy; a stepdaughter, Bea Shanahan of Seattle; a sister, Lucille Gillingham of Spokane; 11 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Darlene (West) Anderson Spokane
Memorial service for Darlene (West) Anderson, 64, was Tuesday at Whitworth Community Presbyterian Church.
Born in Oakland, Iowa, Mrs. Anderson died Friday.
In 1963 she married Galen Anderson. They later divorced.
She was a 26-year Spokane resident and worked as a secretary. She also volunteered at Hoopfest and Spike and Dig.
Survivors include two sons, Kyle Anderson of Spokane and Russell Anderson of Chicago; two sisters, Linda Jensen of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Jackie of Avoca, Iowa; and two brothers, Jerry West of Omaha, Neb., and Kenny West of Waukon, Iowa.
