Johnson takes show to Gorge

Tickets go on sale today at 10 a.m. for a concert by alternative pop/folk singer Jack Johnson with G. Love and Special Sauce and Donavon Frankenreiter, Sept. 25 at the Gorge Amphitheatre. Tickets are $39.50, through Ticketmaster outlets (ticketmaster.com or 509-735-0500).

2003’s Country Music Award Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year and Female Vocalist of the Year will be together Aug. 8 at the Spokane Arena. Tickets for the Alan Jackson and Martina McBride concert are $65 and $49.50 and go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through TicketsWest outlets (325-SEAT, 800-325-SEAT, www.ticketswest.com).

Concert rescheduled

John Michael Montgomery’s concert scheduled for Thursday at the Coeur d’Alene Casino has been rescheduled. His publicist says he has sustained a hip injury. The concert has been rescheduled for Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets purchased at TicketsWest on or before June 30 may be exchanged or refunded at the Spokane area box office or mailed to 720 W. Mallon Ave., Spokane WA 99201. Tickets purchased at the casino may be exchanged or refunded only at the casino VIP desk before June 30.

Tickets not exchanged or refunded before June 30 still will be honored for the Oct. 20 concert in Worley, Idaho, but will not be refundable after June 30.

Psychobilly sounds

Popular psychobilly act Reverend Horton Heat will rock the Big Easy Concert House on July 18 with Detroit Cobras and the 45’s. Tickets are $15 and go on sale today at 10 a.m., through TicketsWest.
