The Times of London’s fairly new podcast and video podcast series is described as “Life in Baghdad and beyond, through the eyes of our reporters.”

The four episodes available online are all top-notch reports with revealing footage of U.S. and Iraqi units dealing with high-stress situations. One three-minute, 41-second videocast is titled “Haifa Street Battle.” Well, kind of. The battle you get is the aftermath of whatever action occurred during a recent military operation in that Baghdad neighborhood.

The five-minute videocast, “Inside a Black Hawk,” is much stronger. It’s an immersive view of what it looks like from inside a U.S. Army helicopter flying over the capital during a daytime mission.

Not the easiest material to view, however, as these podcast files are fairly large to download. Broadband required.
