The Liberty Lake Police Department responded to a slew of calls the week of Jan. 22-28 and made several arrests. Donald R. Reed, 29, of Liberty Lake was arrested on charges of burglary, theft and possession of an illegal drug. Thirty-year-old Melissa M. Unger of Liberty Lake was arrested on charges of assault, resisting arrest and interfering with an officer.

Bradley A. Moon, 28, of Spokane was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and Mallique E. Singleton, 21, of Newman Lake were arrested on charges of driving with a suspended license and failure to show liability insurance. Dan W. Pickerel, 54, of Greenacres was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and drug possession.

Officers responded to calls dealing with domestic violence, harassment, burglary and 13 commercial vehicle inspections. Citations were handed out for license and plates required, attachment of plate to vehicle, violation of an intermediate license, violating posted road restrictions, speeding, speeding too fast for conditions, driving under the influence, second-degree negligent driving and fourth-degree assault. There were also four citations for failure to show liability insurance.
