Child Abuse Prevention Kick-Off Event and Resource Fair – 3-5 p.m. at Panhandle Health District Building, 8500 N. Atlas Road, Hayden. Guest speakers and officials will bring awareness to the prevention of child abuse and neglect. Includes displays and refreshments.

Free Tax Help for Idaho Residents - Sponsored by AARP, the IRS and the Idaho State Tax Commission. For elderly, low-income, non-English speaking, and disabled taxpayers who need help with preparing their tax returns. By appointment only. Runs through April 15 at the Post Falls Senior Center, 1215 E. Third Ave. 773-9582.

Spokane Symphony Chamber Soiree – Doors open at 6:30 p.m., concert at 7:30 at The Jacklin Arts Center at The Old Church, 405 William St. An evening of art and music. Yoga Classes – Pre-registration required. Wednesdays, 12:30-1:45 p.m, taught by Judy Andreasson (gentle yoga after 40). Thursdays, 4-5 p.m. taught by Maxien Marcy (mixed levels) at The Highlands Day Spa, 4365 Inverness Drive. Bring a yoga mat and blanket and wear comfortable clothing.
