Book to reveal Streisand’s dream home

Barbra Streisand has finished building her dream house and started to think about her life.

The 67-year-old singer, director and actress has reached an agreement with Viking for “A Passion for Design,” an illustrated book scheduled for fall 2010. It includes photos of the Malibu oceanfront compound she worked on for more than five years.

Streisand, long reluctant to discuss her private life, said she has been working on a memoir as well, but hasn’t decided whether she will finish it.
