Eagles breeze in exhibition
Tatjana Sparavalo and Kyla Evans each provided 16 points and Eastern Washington’s women concluded exhibition play with a 69-46 win over visiting Warner Pacific.
The Knights came within two with 8:42 remaining, but EWU scored the next 15 points to build a commanding lead late in the game.
Jessica Huntington added 10 points and four assists, while Nicole Scott led with seven rebounds for the Eagles, who open the regular season on Saturday at Portland. Warner Pacific was led by Kristina Schumacher’s 11 points.
