Eastern Washington Eagles outlook

RECORD: 4-13 overall, 1-4 Big Sky

COMING UP: Today, vs. Northern Arizona 7 p.m.; Saturday at Sacramento State, 7

OUTLOOK: The Eagles have a short, but welcome homestand. Coming off a winless four-game stretch of road games, they face Northern Arizona tonight. The Lumberjacks feature the Big Sky’s leading scorer in 6-foot-4 guard Cameron Jones, who is averaging 19.6 points per game. Eastern has a chance to end its 16-game road losing streak when in takes on Sacramento State on Saturday. The Eagles beat the Hornets 88-79 in overtime to open the conference season on Dec. 29. The last time Eastern tasted victory on the road was on Jan. 10, 2010, when Glen Dean made a winning running bank shot at Montana State.
