Shake recipe a winner

Hayden, Idaho resident Robert Gadsby took home the $10,000 first prize in the Below Zero Hero Milkshake Recipe Contest.

The contest was sponsored by Meadow Gold and Below Zero Hero.

Here is Gadsby’s winning recipe:

Chocolate Cream Pie Milkshake

1 cup milk

8 scoops vanilla ice cream

1-2 slices frozen chocolate cream pie, thawed

1/3 cup chocolate syrup

Toppings:

Whipped cream

Shaved chocolate

Cherry

In a blender, combine milk, chocolate syrup, pie and ice cream. Blend on high speed until smooth.

Pour into chilled glasses. Garnish with whipped cream, shaved chocolate and a cherry.

Yield: 4 servings
