Quincy shooting leaves one dead

A shooting last night in Quincy has left one man dead. The Grant County Coroner identified the victim as Ramiro Munoz Jr., 40, of Quincy. Authorities say the shooter is still at large. At about 11:20 p.m. emergency crews responded to the 100 block of C Street where they found Munoz dead from gunshot wounds, according to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office news release. It is unknown how many times he was shot. Detectives learned the shooting happened after the two men got into an argument, the news release said. Detectives believe Munoz is a former gang member. The shooter is with two other people who are considered suspects, the news release said. Information about the suspects has not yet been released.
