Indians rained out; doubleheader Saturday

The Northwest League baseball game between the Spokane Indians and the Everett AquaSox was rained out on Friday in Everett and will be made up Saturday as part of a doubleheader. The two teams will play a pair of seven-inning games with the first pitch scheduled for 6:05. Spokane has dropped six of seven games to open the season, while first-place Everett is 5-2. Catcher on his way The Texas Rangers assigned third-round pick Patrick Cantwell to Spokane on Friday. The catcher will join the Indians in Everett. Cantwell played four years at Stony Brook University (N.Y.) and led the Seawolves to the 2012 College World Series, the first CWS appearance in school history.
