Age 96
Margaret Elizabeth Poesl, (Age 96) born October 25, 1915; passed away May 24, 2012 at Twilight Manor where she was cared for in her final days.
She was born in Missoula, MT to Adolph and Marie (Mahoney) Faul.
She graduated from Marycliff High School and Kinmore Business School.
Margaret was introduced to Michael, her husband of 70 years, by her father who employed him at the Rainier Brewing Co. where Michael later became Brewmaster.
He preceded her in death in 2005.
She is survived by daughters, Sallie Thiessen (Sam) of Seattle and Sue Bjurstrom (Vern) of Spokane and son, James of Los Angeles, CA; four grandchildren: Amy Martin (Mark) of Seattle, Melyssa Schug (Damian) of Renton, WA, Eric Bjurstrom and Marc Bjurstrom (Rachel) of Spokane; four great-grandchildren: Ethan and Zachary Bjurstrom and MacKenzie and Samantha Schug.
Margaret loved to travel and took some wonderful trips.
She enjoyed cooking, especially when her family was together and during the holidays.
Her family meant everything to her.
She is forever loved and will always remain in our hearts.
The family wants to thank her visiting angels: Sheila Sutherland, Sara Martin, Terry Martin, Laurie Martin, Maggie Sund, Nancy Hand and Connie Koentopp.
Margaret was a longtime member of St. Aloysius and later St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, June 2, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 505 W. St. Thomas More Way.
