Hanson not up for death penalty
A story that ran on page B2 of Saturday’s newspaper incorrectly identified the maximum penalty Louis Hanson faces in a murder trial set to begin Monday due to a reporter’s error. Because prosecutors did not request a special sentencing hearing, Hanson is not eligible for the death penalty.
