Obituary: Ingham, Dennis Eugene “Bud”

INGHAM, Dennis Eugene “Bud” (Age 84) Born December 28, 1928 in Everett, WA; entered into rest September 23, 2013 in Spokane, WA, a resident of Spokane for 45 years.

Bud graduated from Ballard High School in Seattle, WA in 1947.

He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War, later to retire as Master Sergeant.

He worked for NCO-Logistics and retired in 1970 and received the Speakers Award from NCO Academy.

Bud not only worked in Spokane but he also had the opportunity to work in Guam; Albany, GA; Chicopee, MA; and Wiesbaden, Germany.

He worked on nuclear weapons while in Guam, the armament and electronics shop NCO, crew NCO, and automated maintenance.

Bud was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed camping, photography, and worldwide travel.

He spent many hours as a volunteer at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane.

Bud was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his five sons, Stephen A. Ingham of Colorado Springs, CO, Eric C. Ingham of Spokane, WA, John M. Ingham of Sumter, SC, Andy M. Ingham of Graham, WA, and Matthew E. Ingham of Spokane, WA; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2013 beginning at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross Cemetery 7200 N. Wall, Spokane, WA.
