New to the Area

It’s official: Area 51 Taphouse , the Inland Northwest’s newest and biggest (tap-wise) beer bar, opens today at 5:01 p.m. at The Onion Bar & Grill North Spokane .

The remodeled space will offer 51 beers (both micro and macro), ciders, wines and a special cask bourbon concoction on tap – one more handle than Manito Tap House or Crafted – along with 50 bottled beers.

There also will be growler fills, a mug club and beer dinners. Look for a full report over the weekend.
