Obituary: Edwards, Eveline Georgia (Bellos)

Age 91

EDWARDS, Eveline Georgia (Bellos) (Age 91) Born May 27, 1922, passed away March 27, 2014 peacefully at the Able Adult Family Home where she resided the past year.

She was born in Moscow, ID., the eldest of three by Bessie Montana Bellos and George Fotus Bellos.

Her two brothers, George and Gene are deceased.

Eveline was a 60 year resident of Millwood.

Enjoying rock hounding as a family adventure resulted in a 37 year business known as Valley Rock Shop in Millwood.

She maintained the business after her husband passed in 1978.

Eveline loved golf and she actively golfed until her 88th year.

She was a long time member of Wandermere Golf Course’s Monday night 9 hole league - Twilight Turfers.

She also belonged to the Liberty Lake 9 hole group and served as secretary.

She sponsored the Valley Rock Shop bowling team for years.

She was active in Rock Rollers and was a dealer at the annual Gem & Mineral Show.

Eveline attended the University of Idaho majoring in journalism.

She married James Monroe Edwards in Philadelphia in 1943.

They had two children, Sharron Lee Edwards Kimball of Spokane, and Monte James Edwards (deceased).

A Graveside Service will be held at Pines Cemetery, 1402 S. Pines on Thursday, April 3rd at 2:00 PM.
