Man shot dead at north Spokane home identified

The man shot dead outside a northwest Spokane home Saturday night was Jerry R. King, 39, the Spokane County medical examiner’s office said Tuesday.

King was shot outside a home in the 6500 block of North Assembly Street just after 10 p.m. Saturday. A woman called police to say her husband shot an intruder.

Spokane police are still investigating the shooting.
