– Bellwether today tapped a Lavender Pale Graf apple beer as its latest small-batch offering.

– Orlison will be featured in Friday’s weekly brewer’s lunch at Central Food, with beer and menu specials from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

– Alaskan Brewing beers will pour in a pint night Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Coeur d’Alene Growler Guys.

– The Steam Plant’s “C” Hops Victory Ale, Steam Bock and Double Stack Stout will be featured Friday from 5 to 8 at the North Side Growler Guys .

UPDATES TUESDAY 1/19

– Slate Creek is pouring its first lager, Backcountry Black Lager, for Wednesday’s Slate @ 8:00 , with $3 pints starting at 8 p.m. along with live music and pizza by the slice.

– Four beers from Boise’s Payette Brewing – North Fork Lager, Payette Pale, Rustler IPA and Pistolero Porter – will pour in a free tasting Wednesday starting at 3:30 p.m. at Pilgrim’s in Coeur d’Alene.

– Downdraft will launch a new limited-release Winds of Change tap on Thursday, Love Pump Lager (4.5 ABV, 53 IBU), brewed with Cascade hops.

– English Setter’s Puppy For Christmas chocolate/orange porter will be Randalled through orange candy for the Valley brewery’s Frandall Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.

– Pullman’s Paradise Creek releases an easy-drinking, Belgian-style Patersbier (4.6, 21) on Friday.

A look at the upcoming week in local craft beer:

– Waddell’s Neighborhood Pub & Grille on the South Hill is celebrating its eighth anniversary all week with $2 pints of its 40-plus craft beers on tap.

– Orlison’s monthly Community Pint Night on Tuesday will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Inland Northwest , with the charity receiving $1 from every pint sold between 5 and 9 p.m.

– A grapefruit-infused Jet Star Imperial IPA will be featured at No-Li’s weekly Brewsday Tuesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

– Laughing Dog will be in the house with $4 drafts for a KPND Radio Ski & Board Party on Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Waddell’s Neighborhood Pub & Grille, along with food specials and merch giveaways.

– Green Bluff’s 238 Brewing celebrates its first anniversary Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. with raffles for door prizes and a snowshoe walk card game from 1 to 3 ($5 entry); bring a donation of pet food or office supplies for the Spokane Humane Society and get a $3 pint.
